MVP 2019: submissions now open through december 10 2018!

Welcome back! We are absolutely thrilled to bring you Music Video Portland again in 2019 on January 10th at One Longfellow Square! Bigger, Better, Bolder and, uh... more Bonkers (?), we have a killer show planned for you, brought to you by HOT TRASH: Portland!, Red Mustard Entertainment and Table 6 Designs. Artists, submit by December 10th for consideration. See you on the red carpet!!

 

Submit Your Video

Artists, check out our submission guidelines below. Read them very carefully, as exceptions to the rules here won't be made. Please note that if your video is chosen, you MUST provide the video via snail mail or in-person drop off in Portland on a flash drive, cd or other physical format. Address will be provided to nominees. All media will be available to pick up at the show.

In submitting your video for consideration for Music Video Portland, you are explicitly agreeing to and acknowledging understanding of the following guidelines:

  • The deadline for submitting your video for consideration for Music Video Portland is December 10th, 2018. No exceptions will be made. 
  • To be eligible for Music Video Portland 2019, video must have been released between November 15 2017 and December 10th, 2018.
  • Music featured in the video must have been created by an artist living in Maine; video production may have taken place outside of Maine.
  • All genres of video are accepted: live performance, narrative, animation, slideshow, etc. are all eligible.
  • Video must be less than 8 minutes long.
  • You retain the legal right to broadcast this video in all forums public and private, and agree that Music Video Portland may distribute your video with proper accreditation prior to, during and after the event either in full or in clips at our discretion. Nominees and winners may be cited in perpetuity as having participated in Music Video Portland for promotional purposes.
  • If your video is chosen for showcasing during the Music Video Portland's awards show on January 10th 2019 at One Longfellow Square, you will provide Music Video Portland's producers with a high resolution copy of your video as an mp4, avi, mov or similar file format to be shown at the event. Videos downloaded from youtube will not be shown at the event.
