MVP 2018: Success!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Music Video Portland, and a million thanks to Conor Tubbs (Cherry Lemonade), and Kari Hodgens and Luna Colt (Sirens & Sailors) for their awesome hosting! And of course, many thanks to Pinchy the Lobster for coming up from the deep ocean to join us for the night. We are so happy to announce this year's winners (click link to watch video):

Submit Your Video

The Submission Window for MVP is currently closed. Please come back and submit your video in summer 2018! Sign up for the mailing list above to be notified when we start taking submissions for MVP 2019.

In submitting your video for consideration for Music Video Portland, you are explicitly agreeing to and acknowledging understanding of the following guidelines:

  • The deadline for submitting your video for consideration for Music Video Portland is November 30, 2017. No exceptions will be made. 
  • To be eligible for Music Video Portland 2018, video must have been released between November 15 2016 and November 30 2017.
  • Music featured in the video must have been created by an artist living in or originating from Maine; bands with more than one member must have at least one member either living in or originally from Maine; video production may have taken place outside of Maine.
  • All genres of video are accepted: live performance, narrative, animation, slideshow, etc. are all eligible.
  • You retain the legal right to broadcast this video in all forums public and private, and agree that Music Video Portland may distribute your video with proper accreditation prior to, during and after the event either in full or in clips at our discretion. Nominees and winners may be cited in perpetuity as having participated in Music Video Portland for promotional purposes.
  • If your video is chosen for showcasing during the Music Video Portland's awards show on January 19th 2018 at One Longfellow Square, you will provide Music Video Portland's producers with a high resolution copy of your video as an mp4, avi, mov or similar file format to be shown at the event.
